Etiquette

Chat room etiquette: how to fit right in

A few simple habits keep every room friendly, on topic and fun for everyone.

  • Say hi to the room

A quick hello and what brought you there is the easiest way to join in.

  • Stay on topic

Each room has a theme. Keep it relevant so everyone enjoys the chat.

  • Include others

Reply to newcomers and ask questions. Busy rooms grow when people feel welcome.

  • Keep details private

Never share your full name, address, phone number or social media in a public room.

  • Respect opinions

Disagree with the idea, not the person. No insults, hate or harassment.

  • Report, do not argue

If someone breaks the rules, report the message and move on.

Safety

Safe, moderated group chat for adults

Every room is protected by a word filter, a link block and real moderators who review reports.

  • Adults only

Rooms are for adults aged 18 or older. Anyone underage is removed.

  • Real moderators

Moderators review reported messages and can delete them for everyone.

  • Links blocked

Nobody can post links, which stops spam, scams and phishing.

  • Bans that stick

Rule breakers lose the right to post, and bans are hard to get around.
